How do I know if it’s really a dental emergency?

What should I do if I knock out a tooth?
Stay calm and act fast. Pick up the tooth by the crown, not the root, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Call us right away. The sooner you get to our office, the better chance Dr. Franco has of saving it.
Can you see me the same day?
Yes. We leave room in our schedule for dental emergencies because we know these things can’t wait. Call us as soon as something happens and we’ll do everything we can to get you in the same day for treatment.
Will I need to come back after the emergency visit?
Sometimes, yes. If you need a crown, root canal, or follow-up work, we’ll schedule your next visit before you leave. Dr. Franco will create a personalized plan to make sure your tooth heals properly and stays healthy long-term.
Will it hurt to get treated?
We totally get the fear, but the goal is to stop the pain, not add more. Dr. Franco uses gentle techniques and modern tools to keep you comfortable. Most patients say the relief after treatment is worth it and then some.
